Position Title: Support WorkerLocation: Northampton NorthamptonshireJob Description:At Halcyon Health & Social Care, our team in Northamptonshire is seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide practical and emotional support to individuals with diverse needs.Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver person-centred support tailored to individual needs and preferences
  • Assist with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
  • Support individuals to participate in social and recreational activities, promoting community engagement and inclusion
  • Monitor and document progress and changes in health and well-being
  • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and respect for individuals' dignity and autonomy
Requirements:
  • Six months of social care experience in the UK
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach towards individuals with diverse needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Availability for a minimum of 20 hours per week
  • Clearable candidates (Right to work, DBS CONTENT)
  • Flexibility to work early, late, long days, waking nights, or sleepovers
  • Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle (desirable but not essential)
