Service Care Solutions are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our acute service team on an Agency basis. As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to our patients during their most vulnerable times. Your work will be instrumental in helping individuals stabilise and recover in the least restrictive setting possible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering person-centered care and support to male patients experiencing acute mental health crises.
  • Assisting with daily living activities, ensuring patients' comfort and safety.
  • Implementing individualised care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Supporting patients in managing their mental health and promoting their independence.
  • Engaging patients in therapeutic activities and encouraging positive social interactions.
  • Monitoring patients' progress and reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
  • Maintaining a safe, secure, and supportive environment within the unit.

Requirements:

  • Recent experience in a mental health support role is essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • A commitment to promoting the rights, choices, and dignity of patients.
