Support Worker
We are looking for an experienced Support Worker to work multiple services in and around the Barrow-in-Furness locality. The services promote the independence, inclusion and well-being of people with care and support needs, such as, Autism, Mental Health, Learning Difficulties and Physical Disabilities.
This role is agency and is fully flexible allowing you to work around any commitments, promoting a healthy work life balance.
The Role:
- Providing support with personal care, domestic tasks and supporting individuals to access work, education and social opportunities.
- Help clients with mobility, including transfers from bed to wheelchair or assistance with walking.
- Provide companionship and emotional support, helping clients feel valued and understood.
The Person
- 12 months minimum experience working as a Healthcare Assistant/Support Worker
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Driver preferred but not essential.
- International applicants are unfortunately unable to be considered.
