Support Worker (Waking Night)

Hourly Rate: £12.80

Please note that our client DOES NOT offer Tier 2 sponsorship

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our client’s team. As a Support Worker you will provide person-centred support and care for individuals with diverse needs, ensuring their safety, well-being, and independence.

What We’re Looking For

  • Level 2 or above Health and Social Care

  • Previous experience in a similar support role is preferred

  • Compassion, empathy, and a respectful attitude towards individuals with diverse needs

  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Willingness to promote diversity, equality and inclusion

  • Understanding of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable individuals

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals receiving support

  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal care and household tasks

  • Support individuals to engage in social and recreational activities

  • Promote independence and empowerment while respecting individual rights and choices

  • Implement and follow individual support plans and behaviour support strategies

  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, families, and external professionals

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of support provided
