We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care and supporting medical administrative tasks. Duties:
- Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care, including taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and assisting with procedures
- Monitor and record patient information, such as symptoms, medications, and vital signs
- Maintain a clean and organized patient care environment
- Provide basic life support in emergency situations
- Assist with medical administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, managing medical records, and coding
Experience:
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to assist with patient care
- Familiarity with X-ray procedures and equipment is a plus
- Ability to accurately measure and record vital signs
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals
- Ability to handle confidential information with sensitivity
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a healthcare assistant training program is preferred but not required
- Basic life support certification is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
