Venn Group have been approached by a Support Organisation and would like to introduce the following positions available

Position:          Supported Accommodation Manager

Location:         Various location – Halifax, Tameside, Castleford, Whalley Range

Salary:             £32,323,20 - £33,820.80 (dependant on qualifications)   

Duration:         Permanent

Hours:              40 hours p/week (Mon – Fri)

The role will predominantly involve:

• Ensuring the smooth operation of the homes, promoting a safe and caring environment for all young people
• Leading and inspiring the support team, delivering supervisions, probations, and appraisals, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure high-quality care delivery and adherence to regulatory guidelines and standards
• Working closely with the support team to develop and implement support plans and safety plans tailored to meet the needs of each young person, ensuring their well-being
• Conducting regular assessments and reviews of each young person’s progress, working collaboratively with relevant professionals, families, and external agencies to create person centred support plans
• Planning and leading team meetings, and multidisciplinary discussions to ensure effective communication, coordination, and collaboration with external stakeholders
• Maintaining accurate records, reports, and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements and organisational policies

The successful candidate will ideally hold a Diploma Level 3/4 in Children, Young People, and Families practitioner. Hold or be willing to work Level 5 in Children, Young People and Families Manager or be willing to undertake this. Have a minimum 2 years’ experience working in childrens social care, supported accommodation or similar setting.
