Sellick partnership are currently assisting in the recruitment of a Supported housing manager for a large non profit organisation based in and around Bradford.
The successful candidate will be expected to be able to travel to various locations around Bradford (mileage covered).
Duties of the Supported Housing Manager:
- To be the first point of contact for staff and provide ongoing support, guidance, training, direction, and line management of allocated staff to help them deal with the day-to-day issues that arise
- You will also be responsible for ensuring they are delivering high quality housing management and tenancy sustainment services, are working to our policies and procedures
- Work with other housing colleagues to ensure properties are of a good standard, are well maintained, compliant and our occupancy is maximized
- Provide support and supervision to staff in line with company policy and guidelines
- Contribute to the achievement of performance targets and KPI's and achievement of your personal objectives and your individual staff objectives
- Support and guide staff in relation to dealing with anti-social behaviour issues, serving notices; appointing a solicitor and attending court hearings and ensuring all incidents are recorded and documented accordingly
- Provide guidance and support to staff in relation to the delivery of tenancy sustainment and support services including guidance in relation to safeguarding and risk
- Assist the Director and Senior Managers with the continued development and growth of Humankind Housing including viewing properties with a view to leasing/purchase and make recommendations when leases come to an end based on quality of property, demand, and occupancy information
Requirements of the Supported Housing Manager:
- Professional qualification in Housing (CIH 4 or above) desirable
- Management Qualification (CMI Level 4 or above) desirable
