Job title: Fall Protection Surveyor

Salary: £38k - £43k (depending on experience)

Location: Rochester

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Mon-Fri)

Are you a detail-oriented and experienced Fall Protection Surveyor? We're an expanding maintenance and installation business specialising in working at height safety and BMU maintenance. We’re looking for someone to join our team and help ensure the safety of our clients through precise design and expert advice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site surveys to assess fall protection and access equipment requirements.
  • Develop detailed drawings and specifications using CAD software.
  • Collaborate with the surveying and estimating team to provide comprehensive project documentation.
  • Produce steel fabrication drawings and communicate with the Workshop Manager.
  • Assist in implementing a new CAD system.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in fall protection systems and CAD design.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, with experience in creating detailed drawings.
  • Experience designing fixed ladders, walkways, steps, and platforms.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Experience with steel fabrication drawings and BS7883 assets is desirable.
  • IOSH qualification preferred.
