Sustainability Advisor Construction

We are working with a leading national Developer who are adding to their London sustainability team.They have a need for a Sustainability Advisor to join this growing team. You will be reporting to a Head of Sustainability and will be visiting and supporting multiple multiphased multimillion pound sites/developments across London. Your role will be focused on ensuring high standards of environmental management, data reporting and delivering improvements in the areas of carbon, energy, water, and waste.

• You will engage and work across multiple departments at a site and office level, providing subject matter expertise to support project teams in complying with environmental regulations, meeting local level aspirations, and delivering against the targets set out in the Sustainability Strategy.
• Assessing compliance with the in-house environmental management system and making recommendations for improvement via frequent site visits and formal audits.
• Assist in the monthly collation, analysis and reporting of sustainability data.
• Compile written reports on sustainability performance.
• Support relevant external assessment and certification processes such as: Considerate Constructors Scheme BREEAM, HQM, WELL, NABERS, etc. agreeing commitments and collating information.

You will have:

• A Degree (in Sustainability or Environmental Management etc) or equivalent experience
• Previous relevant experience in a similar role and exposure to/experience in construction.
