Sustainability Manager
Role: Sustainability Consultant / Manager
Location: Newbury & Southern Region
Contract: Permanent, Full time
Salary: Leading + Package
Role Overview: As the Sustainability Manager, you will play a key role in driving sustainability initiatives across various construction projects. You will be responsible for implementing sustainable practices ensuring compliance with environmental regulations!
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sustainability strategies and policies in line with industry standards
- Collaborate with design teams and pre-construction departments to integrate sustainability measures into project planning and bids
- Conduct sustainability assessments and audits, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices
- Monitor and report on environmental performance metrics, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Engage with stakeholders, clients, and subcontractors to promote sustainable practices and initiatives
- Provide technical expertise and support on sustainability-related matters throughout the project lifecycle
- Contribute to the development of sustainable procurement practices and materials selection
The Sustainability Manager will have:
- Excellent knowledge of sustainable building design
- Proven history of driving design teams to understand and respond to environmental constraints and opportunities to maximise positive environmental benefits
- Expertise in one or more sustainability topics
- The ability to cover the Southern region
