Sustainability Manager
Permanent Role
Based in WestMalling & Covering sites

Duties will include

  • Promote environmental best practice to current standards (BREEAM, Well, PAS 2080 or similar), establish best practice and implement strategies, plans, processes and standards by working closely with the design, procurement, delivery and customer teams.

  • Prepare environmental documentation to align with business strategy and industry standards.

  • Direct and support project teams and project leads to ensure the successful implementation of environmental solutions.

  • Promote environmental awareness, capability and competence of our staff by delivering and participating in training and familiarisation.

  • Represent the company in a professional and intelligent manner. Undertake thorough review of the Employer's Requirements (ERs) and identify any risks/opportunities.

  • Prepare the enquiry document including the Scope of Services, programme and secure fee proposals.

  • Manage the appointment of the environmental consultants.

  • Manage the external environmental consultants. Hold regular Principals Calls/Meetings with our digital consultants to track progress and any issues. Measure, share and seek improvements in performance using our Key Performance Indicator (KPI) outputs.

  • Support and draft specific design orientated answers to questions in ITTs during bid(s)

  • Contribute to the creation of project win strategies/themes.

  • Drive Zero harm and exemplary health, safety, well being and environmental performance.
