Broadridge is seeking an experienced Senior Vice President of International Buy-Side / Asset Management Sales to join our team!

This role reports to the Global Head of Buy-Side Sales and will work closely with the Business leaders for our International and Asset Management businesses. The Senior Vice President of International Buy-Side Sales will be responsible for leading a team of sales managers and individual contributor segment (enterprise) sales executives, this position will be based in Broadridge's London Office.

The Senior Vice President of International Buy-Side Sales will be responsible for an overall quota of more than $20M annually. This person will manage enterprise sales, product sales and pre-sales teams with responsibility for originating and closing new sales through initiating contact with existing and potential clients within the financial services asset management/asset servicing communities, throughout the EMEA and APAC regions.

The qualified candidate will be accountable for leading a team, developing talent, engaging with clients on sales development and commercial negotiations, achieving overall sales goals, and aligning sales objectives with Broadridge's business strategy. He/she will be responsible for implementing new go-to-market strategies in partnership with Broadridge's business and Global sales leaders to optimise client engagement and overall sales results.

This role is considered hybrid, which means it will be assigned to a Broadridge office and given the flexibility to work remotely.

Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership to the international buy-side Sales organisation's management team while fostering a culture of accountability, professional development, high-performance, and ethical behaviour.
  • Align the sales organisation's objectives with Broadridge's' International strategy through active participation in corporate strategic planning, sales strategy development, forecasting, sales resource planning, and budgeting to optimize sales coverage model and deliver repeatable/consistent sales results.
  • Lead sales organisation change initiatives by continuously assessing the need for organisational evolution, including assessing talent, performance and go-to-market coverage and approach.
  • Partner with Broadridge's Sell-Side Sales, Premier Account Leaders, and Global BU leaders to maximise results across buy and sell-side institutions via collaboration and joint focus.
  • Collaborate with Broadridge Global BU leaders to ensure consistent alignment on sales strategies and general management issues to enable the business' goals and targets.
  • Collaborate and work as a thought leader with Marketing to build, promote and maintain the Broadridge brand internationally.
  • Recruit, retain and motivate a best-in-class, diverse sales organisation, driving value-based leadership cultures, collaboration, and adaptability.
  • Maintain a stable knowledge base of the financial services industry, competitors, and regulatory activity.
  • Establish and maintain productive peer-to-peer relationships with customers and prospects.
  • Develop and maintain strong networks of relationships at the C Suite levels.
  • Maintain constant awareness of Broadridge products and solutions; interface with clients to keep them abreast of product information.
  • Provide Broadridge Senior Management with all requested sales reports and supporting correspondence, including the utilisation of SalesForce.com.
Skills / Competencies
  • Extensive sales experience, with five or more years of sales leadership experience
  • Demonstrate the ability to motivate, coach, and inspire the sales managers and associates responsible for delivering sales results
  • Extensive sales experience in the financial services/asset management industry together with experience in investment management workflows, product distribution and EU / UK regulatory requirements
  • Must be able to demonstrate a history of meeting and exceeding annual sales targets and managing sales leaders to meet/exceed targets
  • Experience in coaching and guiding sales team members on how to originate and how to close
  • Experience in building a pipeline and effectively forecast and meet quarterly targets
  • Membership in multiple industry organisations with pre-existing contract networks within the industry.
  • Strong leadership and business development competencies coupled with personal accountability
  • Ability to initiate, develop and maintain relationships both externally and internally
  • Ability to apply consultative sales approach to problem-solve with prospective clients and identify opportunities for clients to leverage Broadridge products/services
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Proven experience as a sales hunter and closer
  • Excellent presentations and communication skills
Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree required and MBA preferable

  • Other European languages (value-add)
  • Financial services experience in EMEA and APAC
