As an experienced swim teacher, you will be responsible fordelivering fun, engaging, and inspiring swimming lessons, encouraging participants to achieve the maximum potential for their individual needs and abilities. You will assist in creating swimming activity lesson plans and implementing best practice training protocols in line with our standards, leading to exceptional customer satisfaction.  

We are looking for approachable, positive, and patient individuals that have:  

  • SSTQ, UKCC Aquatics Level 2 or equivalent 

  • Great listening and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a diverse group of people tomotivate, engage andprovide constructive feedback. 

  • Warm and welcoming personality topped with passion, and commitment.

  • Drumbrae Leisure Centre - Part-time permanent - 9 hours per week (Thursday 14:00 - 18:15 and Friday 12:45 - 17:30)
  • Gracemount Leisure Centre - Part-time permanent - 13.75 hours per week (Monday, Tuesday Wednesday)
  • Royal Commonwealth Pool - Full-time permanent - 35.75 hours per week (Tuesday 10:00 -17:00, Wednesday 10:00 - 18:00, Thursday 10:00 - 18:00, Friday 12:45 - 19:15, Saturday 08:00 - 12:30)
  • Royal Commonwealth Pool - Part-time permanent - 16 hours per week 
  • Ainslie Park Leisure Centre - Part-time permanent - 35.75 hours per week (Monday 15:00 - 18:00, Wednesday 15:00 - 18:00 and Saturday 8:15 - 12:45)
  • Ainslie Park Leisure Centre - Part-time permanent - 35.75 hours per week (Monday 15:00 - 18:00, Thursday 15:00 - 18:00 and Saturday 8:15 - 12:45)
  • Balerno & Queensferry High School - Part-time, Permanent - 8.5 hours per week (BHS - Saturday 9:15 - 13:30 and QHH - Thursday 16:30 - 20:30)
  • Balerno & Queensferry High School - Part-time, Permanent - 8.5 hours per week (BHS - Sunday 8:30 - 12:45 and QHHS - Friday 14:00 - 18:00)
