This beloved East Midlands business with a history to be proud of, is expanding its finance team.

The organisation, which is re-branding, has an exciting opportunity for a Systems Accountant to join them.

Intrigued? This is certainly not your run-of-the-mill role!

You'll work at the heart of the business, responsible for analysing financial data, optimising systems, and providing valuable insights to drive decision-making and reporting. You will use your core accounting skills to bridge the gap with IT.

Right from the start, you'll dive into this business, immersing yourself in understanding its systems and operations. This will involve visiting different sites and forming partnerships with both finance and non-finance teams.

Key responsibilities and projects include system interrogation (Netsuite), product costing, inventory valuation, and working with MI. With solid technical skills, you'll leverage your expertise and experience to provide valuable guidance to the IT team.

The role demands a firm grasp of database management, data visualisation, and ERP systems to effectively support the business's data-driven decision-making initiatives.

About you.

You will possess a strong understanding of finance with advanced technical skills to optimise financial systems. Ideally, you will have worked within Manufacturing. You will be process and results-driven with an inquisitive mind and clear communication skills, being able to speak the language of non-finance people.

In addition to the above, you must enjoy working in a business that advocates cross-functional collaboration. Your inquisitive nature will take you to meet different people across different sites.

Finally, there are growth opportunities that could offer progression.
