Systems Accountant

Reed Finance are partnering with a professional services business based in central Bristol recruiting for a Systems Accountant to join their friendly and inclusive team.

This is part of the Finance Team, reporting to the Finance Director (FD) while also working closely with the Financial Controller (FC) and billing teams.

The main focus is to support the business with the implementation, administration and ongoing development of the finance and reporting systems. The goal is to ensure the business achieves maximum optimisation of the finance systems and that users are knowledgeable and effectively utilise the available functionality.

You will be the primary point of contact for most requests for system improvements and will need to work alongside other Finance Team members to ensure that all new developments are successfully implemented to meet the relevant deadlines.

In projects involving new finance software, you will play a key role in the design, testing, go-live, and documentation phases.
