Hays' client is a public sector organisation which is seeking an experienced systems business analyst to join their Digital Delivery team.
You will be part of an established agile delivery team working to deliver a new back-office database and associated reporting applications.
This is a fast-paced, delivery-focused role where working independently whilst collaborating effectively within the wider team is key.
What you'll need to succeed
Essential Skills
- Data Design and Modelling within an systems implementation environment to support business requirements.
- Proficiency in taking business requirements and transforming these into a technical solution.
- Proficiency in documenting functional specifications.
- Provide feedback on technical solutions and data models to business analysts and development teams.
- Proficient in PL/SQL and SQL.
- Proven experience in database development. Design, develop and modify relational database objects, including Tables, View, Packages, Triggers and Indexes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., MS DevOps).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Understanding and experience with Agile methodologies.
