Systems Reporting Lead- Elite 3E, Power BI (Law Firm)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Systems Reporting Lead to join a very well regarded, global law firm.

Key Responsibilities:

Business consultation

• Lead the consultation to gather reporting requirements from partners, fee earners, business support professionals, making recommendations and ensuring that decisions are made in a timely manner.
• Agree applicable deliverables with the Elite 3E Project Manager and provide regular progress updates, ensuring deadlines are met. Furthermore, you will be expected to flag risks/issues and for them to be resolved promptly.

Reporting development

• Work closely with the Power BI developer to design and develop business dashboards and reporting tools.
• Work with SMLs and other functional experts to ensure changes to reporting tools are understood and impact considered.
• Test the stock and develop custom solutions to ensure that the business requirements are being met.
• Input into and co-ordinate the setups/configuration decisions of the functional solutions related to your reporting expertise.
• Coordinate and participate in Use Acceptance Testing including the validation of converted data.
• Apply professional expertise in developing financial metrics and tools to support financial reporting, profitability growth, pricing strategies, and innovation.

Policy and process development and documentation

• Lead on the implementation and documentation of global firm processes and taxonomies to support the provision of accurate and timely reporting data.
• Support with the development of international policies in order to drive reporting standardisation.
• Support the training and change functions on the rollout of your workstream to the business.
• Automate and streamline existing financial reporting processes, ensuring adaptability to stakeholder needs.
