Systems Specialist - Merchandise

Essential Experience:

• Strong experience in fashion supply for clothing, accessories, or footwear.
• Proficiency in Incoterms and Critical Path Management for diverse production types across the Far East, Bangladesh, and India.
• Expertise in ERP systems like SAP or Business Central, covering order processing, invoicing, and payment terms.
• Familiarity with retailer customer manuals and systems.
• A proven track record of managing the critical path from sales order to delivery.

Person Specification:

• Experience within a merchandising team for a supplier.
• Highly organised, proactive, and numerate with advanced Excel skills.
• Experience working with overseas factories and strong CMT knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Ability to manage tight deadlines and the critical path effectively.
• Passionate, dynamic, enthusiastic, and extremely diligent.

Role Responsibilities:

• Daily analysis of gross margins against expected margins for new contracts/orders.
• Escalation of issues to resolve any discrepancies in cost, quantity, or margin.
• Weekly reporting on identified issues and their resolution.
• Collaboration with the finance team to ensure accurate document processing in our financial ERP.
• Maintenance of gross margin integrity as a systems superuser, working closely with the Systems and Data team.
