Position Title: Talent Development Advisor

Our client who is a global business services organisation is dedicated to fostering a culture of continuous growth and development. They are currently looking for a dynamic and passionate Talent Development Advisor to join their team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of their talent agenda.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Talent Development Advisor, you will be responsible for developing and implementing performance management processes and initiatives that enhance employee engagement, development, and productivity. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Performance Management: Design and execute effective performance management systems to ensure employees' goals align with the company's strategic objectives. Provide guidance and support to managers and employees in the performance review process.
  • Employee Engagement: Develop initiatives to boost employee engagement, motivation, and satisfaction. Conduct regular surveys and assessments to gauge engagement levels and identify areas for improvement.
  • Talent Development: Create and implement talent development programs that foster the growth and advancement of employees at all levels. Collaborate with department heads to identify high-potential employees and develop personalised development plans. Manage and track CPD hours across the business ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards
  • Training Support: Facilitate training sessions and workshops to educate managers and employees on performance management best practices, goal setting, providing feedback, and conducting performance reviews.
  • Succession Planning: Develop and manage succession planning processes to ensure a strong talent pool for key roles. Identify critical positions and create strategies to develop and retain top talent for future leadership roles.
  • Capability Building: Identify current and future skill gaps and design programs to build the necessary capabilities within the organization. Work closely with various departments to ensure alignment with business strategy.
  • Data Analysis: Utilise data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of talent development initiatives. Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement based on data-driven analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in performance management / talent advisor role or similar role
  • Previous use of an innovative performance dedicated platform - for instance people.net or CultureAmp. Ideally within a contact centre or SaaS environment
  • Strong understanding of performance management principles, methodologies, and best practices including identifying rising talent and developing succession plans
  • Expertise in developing and implementing innovative and high impact talent management & leadership development programmes
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with managers, employees, and other stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • Proficiency in using performance management software and tools to track and analyse performance data.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable conclusions.
  • Ability to coordinate complex learning programmes and their administration
  • Ability to prioritise workload and multi-task effectively
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure whilst retaining a strong eye for detail

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has been supporting a Talent Development team, to step into a more autonomous role and take more of a lead in defining Talent initiatives.
