Top UK Law firm is hiring a Talent Officer to take the lead on Lateral, Business Services and Graduate Recruitment for the London office.  The role will be working within the wider HR team and the role will offer lots of autonomy and responsibility managing recruitment processes.

Up to £45,000
Hybrid Working – 3 days in the office, 2 remotely
Working directly with Hiring Managers / Partners
Standalone role

Key Responsibilities for the Talent Officer will include:

  • Deliver an end-to end service for recruitment across the firm, from role creation to Offer (including filtering CVs, scheduling interviews, planning selection tests, carrying out first round interviews where appropriate)
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders (often Heads of Departments) to ensure we are searching for the right skills and experience for each role.
  • Build good relationships with key recruiters, communicating with them regularly and giving feedback after interviews; ensure terms are agreed and reviewed on an annual basis with a core PSL for fee earning and support roles.
  • Innovate with new, proactive approaches to attract a diverse talent pool (particularly for lawyers), building relationships with upReach and BSN and other relevant partners.
  • Manage the recruitment process via AllHires, keeping good records and using the system to drive information and reports to show recruiters activity to enable managing the relationships at optimum level and keeping PSLs up to date.
  • Manage our LinkedIn jobs profiles and any other external networks / platforms which promote FW to a broad range of candidates. Using LinkedIn to drive suitable direct candidates through to AllHires.
  • Undertake market mapping where
  • Create bi-annual recruitment reports and statistics, outlining activity, success stories and areas of improvement.
  • Work closely with Marketing to create content for our website and social media platforms.
  • Leads on and takes responsibility for the firm’s graduate recruitment process, vacation schemes and Insight Days.

Key Requirements for the successful Talent Officer:

  • A minimum of two years experience working within a recruitment team within a law firm, or within a recruitment agency
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Advanced Microsoft office and organisational skills
