Tax Accountant - Mansfield – £30,000 – £35,000

Chase & Holland are working with a fantastic, progressive firm of chartered accountants who are looking to recruit an ambitious Tax Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accountancy professional with a background within practice to join a forward-thinking firm at an exciting time.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for a portfolio of client’s tax
  • Ensuring clients are tax compliant
  • Complete full preparation of the client’s tax return
  • Ensure the client's tax returns are completed in the most efficient way possible.
  • Work to tight deadlines to ensure taxes are filled on time.
  • Prepare and submit P11D’s
  • Maintaining meaningful working relationships with clients

The ideal candidate will be:
  • ACA/ACCA/ATT/CTA Qualified or strong QBE will be considered
  • High level of experience in Corporate or Personal Tax
  • Strong IT skills – ideally experience of a variety of systems
  • The ability to prioritise workloads and to work to a high standard of accuracy
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
