Impression Recruitment are delighted to be working with a leading Harrogate based professional services firm offering accountancy, tax and business advisory services to a range of clients across the UK. They are known for being experts in their field and due to growth are now looking to recruit a Tax Advisor to join their team in Harrogate. As Tax Advisor your duties will include:
  • Focus on either Personal Tax or Corporate Tax
  • Responsible for overseeing tax compliance on behalf of clients within the portfolio; tax return preparation, submissions to HMRC and payment advise
  • Work closely with colleagues in the department and firm
  • Assist with ad hoc tasks in addition to compliance work
  • Liaise with HMRC re clients and third parties
  • Communication with clients
  • Report directly within the tax Team to the Associate Partner/Senior Manager
Skills required:
  • Previous experience of working within a tax role would be beneficial but not essential
  • Excellent levels of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage own workload efficiently
  • Work in a fast paced environment
  • Technically proficient
  • Quality organisational skills
  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • ATT/CTA qualifications beneficial but not essential
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients
In return the Tax Advisor will receive a salary of £27,000 - £32,000 per annum and will be working for one of the top firms in Harrogate. Working hours are Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm with one hour for lunch. You will be working in smart, modern and professional offices with onsite parking and close to Harrogate centre.
