Tax Manager
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Tax Manager to lead the provision of a mixed tax compliance and advisory portfolio at a UK Top 50 firm of accountants at their Brighton offices. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing compliance with evolving tax regulations, workflow, deadlines and resourcing for their portfolio. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned tax professional to contribute to the effective service delivery and onward business growth at this firm.

You’ll be CTA or ATT qualified and you’ll have all the characteristics, skills and confidence of a natural manager of a settled and thriving team.
Your technical knowledge in most areas of tax will be second to none and you’ll instill trust and loyalty in clients and colleagues alike. Job Purpose- Managing a team of tax accountants at an established and growing firm of accountants.
- Working with Partners to manage a portfolio of corporate and personal clients in a wide variety of tax specific areas.
- Reviewing and preparing corporation tax computations and workings.
- Transactional work.
- IHT.
- CGT.
- Employee share incentive plans.
- VAT.
- Trust tax.
- Supporting advisory work with clients.
- Advising on various tax due diligence exercises.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure clients are benefitting from all business services.
- Providing training and development for colleagues and team members.
- Representing the company at networking and business events, identifying new business opportunities.
- Identifying opportunities to introduce and cross-sell company services to new and existing clients.
- Setting an example as a hands-on leader.
