An exciting opportunity for a dedicated Tax Trainee to join a professional services team, where the focus is on learning and developing skills in the tax department.

Client Details

Our client is a well established accountancy practice based on the outskirts of Woking.

Description

  • Assist with the preparation of tax returns and computations.
  • Develop an understanding of UK tax legislation and its application.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of client interactions.
  • Attend team meetings and contribute to discussions on tax matters.
  • Participate in training and development activities to enhance tax knowledge.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
  • Support with other administrative tasks as required.

Profile

A successful Tax Trainee should have:

  • A university degree or equivalent in a related field.
  • 6-12 months tax experience is advantageous.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A keen interest in developing a career in tax within the professional services industry.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A proactive approach to learning and development.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
