Are you passionate about making a real difference to young people’s lives? Do you thrive in unique educational settings where every lesson truly matters?

Wirral Home and Continuing Education Service is seeking compassionate and well-qualified Teachers to support pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs through both home-based and centre-based education.

You will deliver tailored lessons (primarily Maths and English) to pupils from Year 5 to Year 11, some of whom may be preparing for their GCSEs. Many of our learners have been out of school for extended periods and truly value the consistency and care of a dedicated teacher.

What we’re looking for:

  • Qualified teachers with experience delivering Maths and/or English

  • A patient, empathetic approach to working with learners with SEMH needs

  • Confidence in planning and delivering your own lessons using curriculum frameworks

  • A commitment to creating a positive impact for pupils and their families

Why join us?

  • Make a meaningful impact in a non-traditional learning environment

  • Work within a supportive team passionate about inclusion and achievement

  • Benefit from flexible working patterns and a competitive hourly rate

Every lesson you teach helps re-engage a pupil with education and opens the door to a brighter future. If you're ready to make a difference, we’d love to hear from you.

Apply today to be part of the Wirral Home and Continuing Education Service.
