Teacher of Design Technology

Tradewind Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a Design Technology Teacher to work in a long-term, full time booking in a Secondary School in Scunthorpe. The position involves the following:

• Demonstrate a good understanding of KS3 & KS4 Design Technology and be able to teach it in an engaging manner to students.
• Plan lessons that encourage students to participate!
• Maintain an organised and professional classroom.
• Assess students and monitor progress of students.
• Uphold high expectations and follow Safeguarding policies.

During your placement, Tradewind Recruitment will support you with CPD training, a consultant that offers opportunities, and competitive rates.

To apply for this role, you must have the following:

• A specialism in English and QTS.
• Experience working in a secondary school.
• Child-only Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to undertake one).
• Satisfactory References
• Right to work in the UK.

This role has the potential to be paid to scale which is a range between £153.85 - £211.96 per day.
