Teacher of Drama - September 2024 Start
Empowering Learning is thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a passionate Drama Teacher to join our team at a vibrant Secondary School starting from September 2024. This is a full-time, long-term position initially till December 2024, with the potential for extension.
Role Overview: As a Drama Teacher, you will inspire and engage students in the exploration of dramatic arts, fostering creativity, confidence, and expression. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons, developing and implementing innovative curriculum plans, and supporting students to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver dynamic and interactive drama lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and personal growth.
- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to drive improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the overall development of the Drama Department and school community.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential for this role.
- Proven experience teaching Drama at the Secondary School level.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to excel in their studies.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and improvement.
