Role and Responsibilities:
Inspire and Engage: Deliver high-quality English lessons to students aged 11-18, fostering a love for literature, language, and critical thinking.
Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and refinement of the English curriculum, ensuring it is challenging, relevant, and engaging.
Student Support: Provide personalized support to students, helping them achieve their full potential and preparing them for GCSE and A-level examinations.
Collaborative Culture: Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and develop innovative teaching strategies.
Extracurricular Involvement: Participate in and contribute to the school's vibrant extracurricular programs, including literary clubs, debate teams, and school productions.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Must hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience: Proven experience teaching English at the secondary level, with a track record of successful student outcomes.
Passion for English: A genuine passion for English literature and language, with the ability to inspire students.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
