Tradewind are recruiting for a Teacher of English for one of our client secondary schools based on the Wirral. This is a short-term opportunity starting mid-September and will initially continue for 6 weeks in the first instance. Our client school are seeking a Teacher of English to teach across KS3 and KS4. Pay for this position, depending on experience will be up to £211.96 per day.

The successful Teacher of English will be joining a department who are of the understanding that English is the foundation of all other subjects. The aim of the department is to foster a love of literature, encouraging students to read widely and independently in addition to developing students to become discerning critical readers whose analytical skills will allow them to interpret the world around them.

To be considered for this Teacher of English position based on the Wirral for September 2024 the essential requirements are:

  • QTS or equivalent
  • Experience teaching English to KS3 and KS4, following the UK curriculum
  • Enhanced Child workforce DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new one
  • Full and complete career history
  • Minimum of 2 references including your most recent employment reference
  • Legal right to work in the UK
