Role - Teacher of English

Location - Swale

Start Date - September 2025 - full time

Salary - MPS1- UPS3 depending on experience

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a creative Teacher of English to work at a popular secondary school in the Swale area. The role is to start in September and will be until the end of the academic year - July 2026!

The role:

  • To plan and deliver engaging and creative English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the English curriculum and enrich the educational experiences of the students
  • Spark curiosity and critical thinking through the exploration of English literature and language

Requirements:

  • Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Have strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching English
  • Have experience as a Teacher of English across KS3 and KS4
  • Have the ability to inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential
  • Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
  • Legal right to work in the UK
