Tradewind are recruiting for a Teacher of Food Technology for one of our St. Helens client schools to start in September 2024. This is a full-time, long-term role expected to continue initially until Christmas, with the potential to extend. Our client school is seeking a Teacher of Food Technology to teach across KS3 and KS4. The successful candidate can expect pay up to £211.96 per day, depending on your most recent scale point.

The successful Teacher of Food Technology will be joining our client school who are a coeducational 11-16 secondary school who nurture their students to become strong, independent young women and men, ready to make a significant impact to communities locally, nationally and internationally. At Key Stage 3, Food Preparation and Nutrition is delivered and at Key Stage 4, the schools Catering and Food Preparation and Nutrition courses are incredibly popular.

To be considered for this Teacher of Food Technology position for September 2024 the essential requirements are:

  • QTS or equivalent (candidates from an FE Teaching background would also be considered)
  • Experience teaching Food Technology across KS3 & KS4 (essential)
  • Enhanced Child workforce DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new one
  • Full and complete career history
  • Minimum of 2 references including your most recent employment reference
  • Legal right to work in the UK
