Role Overview

This is a part-time vacancy seeking an outstanding French Teacher to join the school's dynamic and supportive environment. The role offers a chance to contribute to the school's growth and benefit from the leadership's commitment to staff development.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality French lessons that engage and inspire students across the school.
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of French language teaching, enhancing the overall provision.
  • Plan and prepare lessons using a detailed and robust scheme of work.
  • Provide outstanding teaching that meets the diverse needs of all students.
  • Support the school in raising standards of teaching and learning within the department.
  • Assist departmental staff with specialist subject expertise.
  • Implement agreed school-wide policies and initiatives effectively.

Candidate Requirements

  • Hold a teaching qualification (QTS) socialising in French for KS3 - KS5.
  • Possess a degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Demonstrate outstanding teaching practices and excellent behaviour management.
  • Experience in implementing strategies to raise student achievement, with evidence of success.
  • Proven track record of excellent results at KS3, KS4, and KS5.
  • Experience with high-quality pupil tracking and feedback practices.
