Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver an engaging and inspiring History curriculum
  • Spark a lifelong love of history in your students, inspiring them to explore the past and its relevance to the present
  • Make history relevant by linking past and present, helping students make sense of the modern world
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a thriving and supportive History department
  • Use a variety of assessment methods to track student progress and provide constructive feedback

Requirements

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), demonstrating your eligibility to teach in the UK
  • A true expert in History subject
  • Encourage students to analyse sources, evaluate different perspectives, and develop their own informed opinions
  • Enhanced DBS check required (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Two professional references are required for this position
