Accelerate Teaching is thrilled to announce an opening for a dedicated Teacher of Humanities at a vibrant Secondary School in Kirklees. The Role

As a Teacher of Humanities, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. Your passion for History, Geography, Religious Education, and other humanities subjects will ignite a love for learning in your students. You will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who are committed to maintaining high standards and achieving outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to a diverse range of learning styles and abilities.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and achievement.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through participation in extracurricular activities and events.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Humanities.
  • Proven experience in teaching Humanities subjects at the secondary level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for History, Geography, Religious Education, and related disciplines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.
