Teacher of IT

We are working in partnership with an Ofsted 'Good' Secondary school in Solihull who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed teacher of IT to join their team in September. This is a full-time and long-term role for the autumn term with the potential of going permanent. Due to being a long term role, full teaching responsibilities will be required, including planning and marking. You must be a qualified teacher (ECTs are welcome to apply) and have recent experience teaching IT to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

Job Description

  • Delivering engaging and creative IT lessons to students in KS3 and KS4
  • Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments
  • Monitoring student progress and providing feedback
  • Contributing to the development of the department's curriculum
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
