Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages French

Accelerate Teaching is delighted to present an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) specialising in French. This role is for a highly regarded secondary school in Leeds, starting in September 2024.

We are seeking an exceptional educator who is committed to fostering a love of languages in young people. The ideal candidate will be an experienced teacher with a proven track record of inspiring students and achieving outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality French language lessons to students at Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
• Develop and implement engaging and interactive lesson plans that cater to a diverse range of learning styles.
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing timely feedback and support.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices in teaching and learning.
• Participate in departmental meetings, parent evenings, and school events as required.
• Contribute to the development of the MFL curriculum, ensuring it remains current and relevant.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Degree in French or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching French at secondary school level.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and examination specifications.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
