Location: Nottingham & Derby

Salary: £150 - £210 Per Day

Start Date: September 2024

Are you a qualified Secondary School teacher? Are you seeking a position from September 2024?

LTF Recruitment are working alongside a variety of secondary schools across the Nottingham & Derby region who are looking to appoint secondary teachers across a wide range of subject areas on long term (12 month) and permanent basis. Each school has an immediate need for September 2024 and are looking to appoint available candidates who can have an immediate positive impact of the relevant department.

The main duties within the role will be:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons within your subject specialism
  • Differentiating planning to meet a range of needs across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • Taking a lead within parent/carer evenings
  • Assessing students work against the KS3 and KS4 framework
  • Liaising with the school SENCO around the progress of children with EHCPs
  • Attending weekly department & whole school meetings to help drive forward the school

The school are looking for someone who:

  • Holds qualified teacher status (ECTs Welcome)
  • Is confident teaching their subject specialism across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • Has excellent classroom control and behaviour management strategies
  • Is passionate about teaching and keen to achieve ensure progress is made by all
  • Is an dedicated member of their department and will work cohesively with the group
