Our cherished Church of England primary school in Chorley is seeking a dedicated and versatile Primary School Teacher to carry out day to day cover throughout the school. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who can adapt to teaching various year groups and is committed to fostering a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach a range of year groups from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
  • Develop and deliver engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning needs and styles.
  • Maintain excellent behaviour management to create a conducive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience for all students.
  • Participate in school events and activities, supporting the school's community and ethos.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Proven experience in teaching multiple year groups.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the school.
  • Commitment to upholding the values and traditions of a Church of England school.

Desirable Qualities:

  • Passion for teaching and a nurturing approach towards students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Creative and innovative in lesson planning and delivery.
