They are looking for a motivated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support their teachers and students in achieving their full potential. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in education and a desire to contribute positively to the school community.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers and teaching assistant in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, including those with special educational needs.
  • Help prepare classroom materials and resources.
  • Supervise students during breaks, lunchtimes, and other activities as needed.
  • Support the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and other learning programs.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children or young people, preferably in an educational setting as a teaching assistant.
  • A genuine passion for education and supporting student development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
  • Basic understanding of child development and educational practices.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment.
  • A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) is desirable but not essential.
