SEN Teaching Assistant (supply) - Leek, Staffordshire
Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs (SEN)? We are currently seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team to provide ad hoc support to our schools in Leek, Staffordshire.
Position Details:

  • Role: SEN Teaching Assistant (supply)
  • Salary: £83.33 - £95.00 per day
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 AM - 03:30 PM
  • Location: Leek, Staffordshire


About the School:

  • Age Group: Primary and Secondary aged students
  • Pupils' Needs: Diverse range of SEN, including communication challenges, learning difficulties, and complex needs.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teaching staff to create engaging and practical lessons.
  • Support students in both primary and secondary age groups.
  • Monitor student progress and provide clear direction during learning activities.
  • Build positive relationships with parents and carers.


Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN).
  • A positive and motivating approach to supporting young people.
  • Availability for temporary supply work.
