Teaching Assistant - New Milton - September start!

Academics are looking for a strong, empathetic and passionate Teaching Assistant to join an SEN, Post-16 provision in New Milton. This is a full-time contract starting in September and they are happy to consider candidates looking for a permanent or temp to perm position.

They offer a comprehensive 16-19 curriculum for pupils in Key Stage 5, where they promote an independent environment where learners gain in confidence and resilience in preparation for adulthood.

The School is graded 'Outstanding' by Ofsted and provides education for pupils with Autism, SEMH and associated needs.

The Post-16 facilities provide a variety of different pathways, ensuring all learners seek appropriate qualifications, that will enable them to start their career journey with success.

They deliver Functional Skills Maths and English, Hospitality up to L2, Vocational Studies, such as Life Skills and provide therapy and time in the community doing enrichment activities. They currently have around 14 students on roll.

Working hours are:
8:15 - 4:30 (Mon and Tues)
8:15 - 4:00 (Weds and Thurs)
8:15 - 13:30 (Fri)

Daily rate on supply is £84/starting annual salary is £18,311.99 (pro rata amount)
