Teaching Assistant- Salford, Manchester

Educate GM’s partner school in Salford, Manchester is searching for a Teaching Assistant (split between years 1 & 2) to join their fantastic and proud school.

The role is full-time, for the full academic year and will commence from September 2024, with the possibility of a permanent position becoming available the following year. This fantastic opportunity will pay £80 - £95 Depending on experience.

You will join an inspiring and highly regarded school within Salford, Manchester where children work towards their individual ambitions. The school has supportive staff members who are passionate about high standards and staff development, and you will be supported to excel in your role.

You will be working alongside an experienced class teacher, helping prepare lesson materials, and set up and tidy classrooms for lessons. Help pupils succeed both academically and personally.

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Level 1Teaching Assistant Qualificationor working towards this.

• Experience in teaching in EYSF and/or KS1/2.
• Great behaviour management.
• Patience and care.
• Passion for working with children.
• Positive attitude through challenging times.
• A genuine passion to support each child to reach their true potential.
• All candidates must have a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS)
• Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained.

• You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
