Location: Batley
Pay: £90 - £110 per day (paid weekly)
Role: Full-time, Long-term

Academics, a leading national education recruitment company based in Halifax, is excited to support a client school in Batley. We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant who specialises in assisting children with speech and language needs.

About the Role:

In this rewarding position, you will work closely with students who require additional support to develop their speech and language skills. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing tailored support to children with speech and language difficulties.
  • Collaborating with teachers and speech therapists to implement effective strategies.
  • Monitoring and assessing student progress.
  • Creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience in working with children with speech and language needs.
  • A patient and empathetic approach.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in speech and language support (preferred but not essential).
