Equal Education Partners is currently recruiting for passionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistants to work in various locations across West Wales. We provide support to children within Primary and Secondary school settings, ensuring they receive the best possible education and support to thrive.

Job Description:

  • Offer support to the main class teacher, assisting with the learning support required for individual needs either in groups or in a 1:1 setting
  • Assist with literacy and numeracy sessions and other educational activities
  • Monitor student behavior and ensure their safety and well-being at all times
  • Prepare classroom materials and set up equipment for lessons
  • Inspire and encourage students to achieve their learning goals through individual and group tasks

Requirements

Experience working with children is preferred

A caring and nurturing attitude towards children

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work well within a team

Valid DBS check

Previous experience in a similar role or relevant qualifications would be advantageous, but not essential
