Teaching Assistant | Birmingham, B26 | £95 - £105 per day | September Start | Long Term - Permanent

LTF Recruitment are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our inclusive and welcoming partner primary school, located in the Birmingham B26 area, to start in the new academic year. This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the development and success of students who require additional support in their educational journey.

This is a September starting, full time role.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
  • Work closely with individual students, providing 1-1 support tailored to their specific needs.
  • Implement strategies and interventions to support students' learning and development.
  • Support students in their social and emotional well-being, fostering a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with the SENDCO and other professionals to implement targeted interventions and monitor student progress.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs
  • A relevant qualification / degree is desirable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work effectively with students, teachers and parents
