Teaching Assistant

Required from: September 2024

Contract term: Permanent

Hours: Part-time Job Share (2 days per week), Term Time Only plus 6 days including INSET

Salary: FTE £26,320 (pro-rata actual salary £8,631) per annum

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to work alongside a class teacher and play a key role as a Teaching Assistant.

You will encourage pupils in their learning and acquisition of skills, be it academic, practical, behavioural or social, by adopting intervention strategies.

The role will involve supporting the learning of individual pupils, as well as small groups, by complementing teaching and learning strategies deployed by the teacher.

The ability to work across the primary age range may be required.

Candidates will need to be flexible, as they may be required to provide support to the After School Club on occasion.
