Are you looking for a new position in a supportive environment?

Here at Long-Term Teachers, we are currently looking for Teaching Assistants to join Primary Schools in the BS32, BS34, BS35 and BS37 area of South Gloucestershire.

Depending on the position you are interested in, you could be joining a 1 or 2 form entry school.

There are a number of positions available that start from September. You have the choice of working part-time or full-time with small groups of children or on a 1 to 1 basis with SEND children.



The Role

From September you will be joining some amazing teams, who are all determined to provide an exciting but challenging learning environment for pupils.

There are opportunities for you to learn and develop yourself, upskilling your Teaching Assistant knowledge, by working closely with children supporting their academic and social development.

You will be expected to:

  • Have previous experience of working with children.

  • Be prepared to be flexible - working with different children in different environments.

  • Have high expectations of Positive Behaviour Management.

  • Communicate clearly with the Class Teacher to show children’s learning and development.

  • Create a positive learning environment.

  • Use your initiative to adapt activities to meet the needs of individual children.
