Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a local Primary School for an immediate start Teaching Assistant to support in their two KS2 classes. Do you fit this criteria and seeking work? Look no further! A village Primary School in the close proximity to Driffield require an SEND Teaching Assistant to cover from ASAP until July in the first instance but it will possibly extend into September. This is a full time role with a pay rate of £85-£95 per day. The role is over 5 days and full time. The school are seeking someone who can fully commit the role.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for supporting children across KS2 classes. The school have two mixed years of Y3/4 and Y5/6. You will also then help over the lunchtime period in the dining hall and in the playground as and when required.

The ideal Teaching Assistant will have a strong understanding of the National Curriculum for Key Stage 2 and will be able to use a range of strategies to children with diverse learning needs. Flexibility and adaptability is required for this role.

  • Have experience of working in a school environment and ideally a levelled qualification
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • CV must cover since Secondary school with all gaps accounted for
  • Legal right to work in the UK
