Recruiting for an enthusiastic and motivated Teaching Assistant to support primary children in the classroom of a Hornchurch School, the ideal Teaching Assistant will need the skills and ability to work with the children to achieve with their learning and grow as individuals.

To start September 2024

Monday to Friday, 9.00am - 1.00pm term time only.

Teaching Assistant Role & Qualification:

  • To support the class teacher with all aspects of the children’s learning and development within the classroom.
  • Building intellectual, social, emotional skills of the children whilst promoting enjoyment of learning.
  • Working alongside the teacher to assist in the preparation and layout of materials, equipment, and resources within the classroom.
  • To support the specific needs of the children - physical, emotional, medical, or behavioural.
  • Qualified with a relevant Teaching Assistant L2/L3 qualification.
