Teaching Assistant

Your new company
A Primary School in Huyton is looking for a full-time Teaching Assistant to work in their Key Stage 1 class. We offer a competitive daily rate of pay and the position could potentially turn permanent for the right person.

Your new role
Your role will be working with individual students and groups, under the direction of the class teacher, introducing tasks, monitoring pupil's work and using a range of strategies to support their learning. You need to be confident in KS1 and KS2 Curriculum Knowledge.

What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 3-6 months reference experience in an education setting. The ideal candidate would have SEN experience and would be a confident and patient individual who has competent behaviour management skills.

• Provide 1:1 support for pupils as needed
• Encouraging pupils to act independently and support academic and personal development.
• Have strong communication skills
• Be hardworking and committed to a career in working with children
